Please take a moment to read through the information below so you know what to expect.

Sound baths get their name because participants are bathed in soothing sound waves while lying or sitting comfortably—don’t worry, there’s no water involved! The experience helps to induce a deep state of relaxation and meditation, allowing the sounds to wash over you. It’s something that truly needs to be experienced to appreciate its depth. All you need to do is settle in, get comfortable, and let the sounds work their magic.

Getting Comfortable

Your body temperature can drop during a sound bath, so it’s important to wear warm, comfortable clothing.

I recommend a roll mat/airbed/sunlounger cushions,  a pillow is a must, and a blanket or sleeping bag is ideal for extra warmth and comfort. The more cosy you are, the better your experience will be!

Arrival Time

Please arrive 10-15 minutes before the session starts to allow time to settle in. Unfortunately, latecomers won’t be able to join once the session begins, as the door will be closed.

Who Can Attend?

Sound therapy is suitable for most people, but there are a few things to consider:

  • Pacemakers: The deep relaxation from a sound bath can sometimes cause pacemakers to adjust their rhythm. If you have a pacemaker, it’s advisable to position yourself a little further from the main instruments.
  • Tinnitus: Sound baths won’t make tinnitus better or worse, but some people with tinnitus may find them uncomfortable. If you have concerns, positioning yourself further from the instruments may help.
  • Mobility Considerations: You need to be able to get down to and up from the floor, however chairs are available to sit on or if you prefer you can bring your own chair. Please bring anything that helps you lie or sit comfortably, such as bolsters, cushions, or a rolled-up mat under your knees if lying flat isn’t comfortable.

Session Duration & Age Suitability

A typical session lasts around one hour and is suitable for most ages. However, it’s not recommended for very young children or anyone who may struggle to remain settled. I have had participants ranging from ages 15 to 80.

Anyone under 18 must be accompanied by an adult.
